What is Borani Thoughts?
For as long as I can remember, I have always been someone who prefers to live life with different standards, whether I was in kindergarten or sitting in my own house at the age of 24. From food portions to clothing styles, in every environment where personal preference comes into play, I have made different choices from other people. In most places they were not accepted, but the places that were accepted became my home. When I was a primary school student, a word used by my family became the center of my life: “Some things should be human, not Borani.” Years have passed since that sentence, times have changed and most importantly, Bora, who has grown up, still embraces the Borani measure. Am I happy with this? Of course. What we call life is something that is experienced objectively but felt subjectively. An event happens and while everyone witnesses it, those who actually experience it perceive it very differently. This is where the Borani measure comes into play.
My favorite thing to do in this world is to work on something. Regardless of the time, something sticks in my mind and I get bored. Sometimes it's the origin of a word, sometimes it's a recipe, and often it's a philosophical dilemma... I can ruminate on it for hours and come to a conclusion. While this knowledge adds a lot to me, it won't do me any good if it stays with me. I once heard it at public talk; I don't remember who said it, but the phrase echoes in my head: “Sharing what I know doesn't take anything away from me, but what I tell you can add a lot to you.”
This platform is based on these two pillars. All of the knowledge I have witnessed and learned in life has a Borani measure, and as I share what I understand, I want you to share different knowledge so that I and everyone else can learn something new. Let's discuss, let's open up, let's look for answers to those questions that keep us up at night. Welcome! If your teas and coffees are ready, here we go.
